Our approach to reporting
Our reporting covers those assets and activities over which we have operational control, in terms of sustainability policies and practices.
We exclude other data where we do not control operations, but we do consider the risks associated with our partners’ positions and their control of such activities. Our reporting excludes the performance of non-operated joint venture activities.
Within our Sustainability reporting, we report equity-share of greenhouse gas emissions for both operated and non-operated activities, and extended our reporting to include equity share on an entitlement basis of Scope 3 emissions. We established 2022 as an operational baseline year to track and report emission reporting progress related to our 2040 net zero commitment.
