Randy has more than 30 years of industry experience in financial and executive roles, including CFO of Zodiac Exploration, CFO of Pearl Exploration & Production, CFO of Trident Exploration and most recently CEO of TransGlobe Energy. Prior to entering the energy industry, Randy worked in investment banking at TD Securities.
As President and CEO of TransGlobe Energy, a Canadian and Egypt-focused production and development business, Randy led the negotiations, which resulted in an amended, extended and consolidated concession agreement with EGPC in Egypt. Ultimately that rejuvenation of TransGlobe's business in Egypt led to the merger with VAALCO Energy in October 2022.
Randy obtained designations as a Chartered Public Accountant (CPA) and Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
